On April 18, the On the Move network gathered at Utrecht Central Station for an afternoon of learning, collaboration, and strategic thinking. The meeting was held at Bar Beton, where participants had the opportunity to connect over a walk-in lunch before diving into the day’s activities.
Prof. Wijnand Veeneman kicked off the event with a thought-provoking mini-lecture on the complexities and uncertainties of mobility and infrastructure. Following the lecture, attendees split into two groups to participate in a serious game, where they worked together to develop sustainable mobility plans for a city using a range of mobility innovations. The game was designed and facilitated by Ruben Akse.
The event wrapped up with an insightful after-play discussion and drinks, bringing the session to a close at 16:30.
