In May 2022 the project team met, for the first time, face-to-face with societal partners at the NS station in Amersfoort.

The meeting includes two workshops. The first workshop focused on dealing with risks and uncertainty in complex projects (moderated by Ruben Akse, Red sub-project). The second workshop dealt with exploring the complex interactions between stakeholders within the transport system (moderated by Peraphan Jittrapirom, working on the On the Move postdoc project.
The workshops helped stakeholders to reflect on their roles in sustainable transport transition. Particularly, the changing roles of providers/government/travelers of mobility services in the digital ages. New roles have emerged as new transport services concepts, such as MaaS and shared mobility, gained traction (e.g. prosumers in p2p car sharing and platform providers in Ride-hailing service). Additionally, the stakeholders also reflected on how the changing roles also bring new risks and uncertainties in the operations and control of transport services.
